Animator / Rigger

Abylight is looking for an animator / rigger, for long-term collaboration.

Candidates must have extensive experience with software such as Blender, Maya or 3D Studio. We’re looking for organized and creative team workers with the ability to solve technical problems efficiently.

Minimum requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working as an animator/rigger in the videogames industry.
  • Excellent understanding of animation principles like weight and timing.
  • Excellent skills in Blender, Maya, 3D Studio or similar software.
  • Passion for games and animation.
  • Great ability to meet deadlines and set realistic time estimations for tasks.
  • Technical English.

Senior Programmer Unity 3D

As IP creators and service providers to other companies in the industry, we are looking for a Senior Programmer (Unity 3D) to join our team.

  • C# programming knowledge in Unity 3D - minimum 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Software Engineering: design patterns, class diagrams, development methodologies
  • Knowledge of Shader programming in GLSL, HLSL or CG
  • Knowledge of native plugin creation for Unity 3D
  • Knowledge of creating tools for game design
  • Portfolio of at least 2 published games
  • Excellent written English

  • Experience with Unity 3D projects for major platforms (Steam, Xbox One, PS4 or Switch)

Technical Artist

We are looking for a Technical Artist to join Abylight's team  and support our different development and publishing projects. Their main area of responsibility would be to be the bridge between the artistic part and the technical part of the videogame.

Minimum requirements

  • Creation and correction of UI elements atlas based on 2D graphics
  • Knowledge of importing and using 2D graphics for UI with Unity 3D
  • Importing 3D models from 3D software to Unity 3D
  • Importing animations from 3D software to Unity 3D
  • Fix pivot errors, transformations, materials, shaders and texture properties adjustement for imported models.
  • Review rigging in 3D software, fix errors in 3D software and Unity 3D to ensure that animations are imported correctly
  • Create prefabs form imported art according to element creation guidelines
  • Create colliders for levels, props and characters

Desired requirements

  • Importing assets in Unreal 4.0
  • Creating UI in Unreal 4.0
  • Knowledge of the art creation process
  • Programming through code
  • Programming with blueprints and similar techniques.
  • Game design knowledge
