We don’t hate you: Twitter suspended us for no reason!

So you go on Twitter to check on the @abylight news about the Ninja Chowdown release or any Hyper Light Drifter update... and we're gone! Twitter has suspended us without warning or explanation, and their support keeps ignoring all the messages. And you can possibly help!

A Twitter algorithm malfunction cut us from our 7400-people network of gamers and games industry professionals. It's been a week since our account of @abylight has been suspended without warning or explanation.

We immediately sent an appeal to the Twitter Support team, and then a few more, but haven't received any response from Twitter so far.

"This is no small matter. Losing this account affects work of many people, jobs depend on this working out fast. This attitude is incredibly dangerous and careless from such a big company, specially given the current state of affairs worldwide. When things like this happen, they should at least respond to our plight", says Eva Gaspar, the CEO of Abylight Studios.

No rules violated

We've looked through Twitter's rules again to make sure we haven't misunderstood anything, or maybe some new rules have been added.  However, none of the posts or information shared on the @abylight page was against the platform's regulations!

There hasn't been any notice of a specific rule violation as well. All we've received was the popup message in the mobile app:

Signing in and filing numerous appeals did not result in any action or clarification from Twitter Support.

Community and business development tool since 2009

Abylight Studios' Twitter account has been a vital part of our business and community since 2009, acting as the most interactive and fast channel for delivering news on Abylight and the games we create and publish to over 7400 gamers and developers. We've also found potential business partners through Twitter,  and were using it to stay in touch with an extended network of games industry professionals.

We're doing everything possible to get our account back. Meanwhile, let's stay in touch through our official website and Instagram
